Update on HBforJapan.

Good evening fair gentles.

It's been a while since i updated you guys on what's been going on with the donations.

We are at a little over $7500 in donations, they are definitely slowing down but I plan on taking donations and of course sending out a sticker to thank you for each $5 donation made for as long as people are willing to donate. Hopefully we will reach our $10,000 goal by the end of may.

All donations made up to the 26th of April have been processed and the stickers were sent out as a token of our appreciation for donating through us.

There were several people that didn't list their addresses so i will be emailing you shortly.

We were not able to get chrome to work unfortunately so everybody who asked for a chrome sticker was instead sent a silver sticker and an additional sticker of a different color as a thank you gift for being so patient with us.

There have been several paypal disputes filed and people asking for refunds of their donations, all of these cases were for the reason that they did not receive their sticker(s) soon enough. I would like to clarify one thing, I really do appreciate everybody's donation but i would prefer if you donated because you care about the people in Japan and want to help them, not to get a sticker. We have been doing our absolute best to make the stickers and send them out as quickly and as accurately as possible, however we are human after all so we may have made a mistake on the color or quantity of the stickers we sent to you - if so, please email me at yutaakaishi@gmail.com and I will take care of it as quickly as i can. Also i would like to apologize to those who feel that we did not send your sticker out quickly enough, and appreciate your patience. So i will say this now, please expect up to a month to receive your thank you sticker. However since the initial "rush" is over and we are now receiving five to ten donations a day as opposed to fifty or sixty a day, you are likely to receive them in less than a month's time.

Any reason for donating to the less fortunate is a good reason, but when i set this up - i had assumed that people would be more concerned about where the money is going rather than how quickly they would receive their sticker, judging from the emails i have received, it seems to be the opposite. Perhaps i was naive, but i will continue this project in the same fashion as we have been conducting it: to the best of our ability. I appreciate your donations and your patience.

Lame! I donated money to the red cross and HB, so the stickers are just a really nice bonus. Thanks so much Yuta!

Thanks for the update .. good to read that you're still accepting donations and striving towards the $10K. Anyone that inquires about my sticker/decal .. Ive told them about the fundraiser and sending your way.

And those who complain about the complainers .. it's unfortunately a fact of life. There will always be those that complain. It's like beating a dead horse. Wastes your time, eh?

Focus on the positive .. I'm sure Yuta and the HB crew is.

I ordered 2 chrome, and I got 3 black!

Am I upset about that? Hell no, if the stickers never showed up I would still be glad to of found another channel to support people in need in Japan.

Anyone who is seriously asking for a refund should be ashamed of themselves for placing a sticker (that they undoubtedly do not deserve to have) above the cause that they represent. Way to be an indecent human being, and you should be ashamed for asking to be refunded from a group of people who are offering a return for your donation. Complaining about wait time on a sticker when the country that this is all set up to help out is still in ruins all up the coast, douche move all of you refund requesters.

Yuta and your crew, awesome work! My FD3S is still not at the level that it is worthy to wear the sticker, but when is back from the chassis re-work and paint booth I will for sure send you some snaps.

Any global catastrophe touches us all in one way or another. But this last group of events have hit hard for the race team here, all its crew and myself. Our rides all came from that island, and most of our parts that make them look and run the way they do today.

My Amemiya Blue Devil FD and I thank you guys for all your hard work!

Awesome work hitting 7.5K man, it's unbelievable that people would seriously ask for their donations back. I am just happy to support japan through such a positive channel!
Thank you for the stickers and I wish you the best of luck in reaching 10k.
I wonder if I'll see any more HB stickers here in the UK...

Heh I'm cool with black Yuta, any color would have been fine :D

I'll fire you off a email of the FD when I get a chance and the plan for it and showing of the HB for Japan sticker.

Amazing how people will pull a dick move like that. They aren't paying for stickers, they're making a donation.

Hey Tyler H .. awesome idea on sending pics. I sent Yuta pics of my car and another that I found (it was parked right next to me) at a recent event with the HBforJapan decals.

Who tries to take their donation back? I mean really...

this has been an amazing outreach for Japan Aide. Thanks Yuta. The stickers are even more amazing than I could have possibly imagined. I had to remove some of my stickers because of the pure awesomeness of the HB4Japan sticker. And everyone has asked about it. So I direct them to you. I'm glad to hear that you are still making them. And I pray that you reach your goal. Thanks again.

Thanks for my sticker guys, got it the other day, gotta slap it on my 510 when I get a chance. Appreciate all your hard work and I'm sure the people who benefit from the donations will appreciate it too, congrats on the amount raised so far. As for the people complaining and asking for refunds, some people just can't be helped, I kinda feel sorry for them.
