I remember talking about Datsun trucks at Matt's a few days ago.

Featured in "Mini Truckin'" is Hayato Muramatsu's shaved and body dropped 1979 Datsun 620. i wonder if this same body style was available in 1975, if so this would be a hell of a vehicle to own.

for two days my apartment had no electricity.

when i was driving home from work yesterday my headlights went out.

yes. both of them.

i fucked around with them earlier during the day and they worked fine.

tonight they go out again.

i am definitely going through the wiring tomorrow during the day.

maybe Matt is right and they are solar powered lol.

i think my S30 is pretty low, at least at the frame rails and crossmember (which are around one inch above flat ground and take quite a bit of a beating), but these guys are like scraping rocker panel! and these are brand new cars, what about speed bumps and driveways? i would hate to dent up my rocker panels on a car like that!

i wonder if there are any tunnels on the way to irvine?

L28ET is coming within 2 weeks (thanks, my beautiful girlfriend Mimi!), then it will sit in Matt9000s garage where i will get rid of all the unnecessary vacuum lines, EGR and shave the intake mani and mock up intercooler and shit.
