i REALLY want a Sunny, always have and will until i finally get one.
ideally i would ditch the corolla and pick one up...
i found one for $500 but with HELLA rust.
it supposedly runs well, which is whats really important, as it will be my daily.
i dont know what to do...

dont do it man! the simplicity and ease to get the te sliding is more important, you need a missile/daily!
Pro: smog exempt, however if you have a KA in there, you will still get state ref.

They rule but stick with the corolla dude, much less work to make it slide where you are. Also, leafs springs rule dont you know? Easiest thing to lower ever.
i heard Sunny's were horrible cars, i say keep the TE
hold out till you can get more money. your still young man there's no rush.
Keep the TE, or get a 1st-gen Celica. $500 for a rusty husk just isn't worth it unless you're in love with welding... but at that point you may as well make a car from scratch.
